No airframe modification, no rewiring and no change to how the platform is flown.
The existing positioning module lifts out of its bay and its connector unplugs. Nothing else on the aircraft is disturbed.
The unit drops into the same bay and sits flush against the mounting plate, secured through the standard fixing pattern.
The same connector plugs back in. The autopilot sees a standard position source and requires no reconfiguration.
